Quote of the day

"The fairest thing in nature, a flower, still has its roots in earth and manure."
-D. H. Lawrence
Flowers are beautiful and amazing creations. They are so delicate and beautiful, so exquisite and complicated. They are the fairest thing in nature. The colors are so vibrant and unique, you won't be able to get them anywhere else. But they still have their roots in earth and manure. Even the most beautiful things must have somewhat of a connection with nature. Makeup doesn't make someone beautiful, but kindness and compassion and mercy and all of those good things make people beautiful. Inner beauty is important. And to obtain those qualities, you most likely will have to spend a little time outdoors. You need to learn to appreciate everything, even the dirt and scum of the ground. Flowers are beautiful. They are unique, like you. They grow together and keep each other company, and they are gentle. Flowers don't need artificial things to be beautiful. They just have to be who they are and be proud of it. They are also willing to root themselves in the earth and manure, where it is the best place to get a strong anchor. They don't fuss about getting dirty, they just do it. And yet they are still the fairest things in nature.
