Daily Quote

"When you're true to who you are, amazing things happen."
-Deborah Norville
Stay true to yourself. Don't stray from who you truly are. Don't give in to bad influences, and don't let others tell you who you should be. When you be yourself, amazing things happen. For one, you don't have to constantly keep up the act about who you are and what you're doing, and also others will respect your trueness to yourself. As Dr. Seuss said, "Kid, you'll move mountains!" So just stay true to yourself and watch your life fold out in front of you in exactly the way the way you act allows.

Quote of the day

"When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have fun, you can do amazing things."
-Joe Namath
Everyone knows that having fun with something makes it not only more enjoyable to do, but it makes it more likely that you will do it again so you can get the same thrill of adrenaline from the fun-ness of it all. When you are confident, you can have fun with things because you won't be afraid about every little thing that could happen to ruin it all. You just have to go for it and be confident and have fun. When you are having fun, you can do amazing things! If building houses is something that is fun for you, you can build houses in places like Nicaragua. If gardening is fun to you, you can make a beautiful and fruitful garden. Even for things such as video games-- if certain video games where you build anything to match your imagination, you can do it! As long as you are enjoying doing it, you can do just about anything.

Quote of the day

"Arriving at one goal is the starting point to another."
-John Dewey
A take on the classic "when one door closes another door opens," this quote states that when one thing ends a new opportunity is opening up for you somewhere else. You just have to go out and find it. Consider the finish line for anything simply as the starting point for the rest of your life. Your life consists of many start and end points, and you take them one at a time. When one ends, a new one will start. It might take a while to find that new start line, but it is there. So don't worry where your life takes you, just enjoy the ride and make good decisions!

Daily Quote

"My father considered a walk among the mountains as the equivalent of churchgoing."
-Aldous Huxley
We people these days aren't connected enough to nature. We can just stay inside all day and not have to go anywhere, if we want to (unless you have to go to work, but even then you are in an office building or something of the sorts). We need to get out more often and go see what the world has to offer! In a recent post, I mentioned the how the careful details of common works of nature are truly works of art. I believe that we need to go out more often to see the world. Appreciating God's works makes Him as happy as He is when you go to church. So go see His works. He put it there for us to use and enjoy, so enjoy it!

Daily Quote

"To be content with little is hard; to be content with much, impossible."
-Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach
It's hard to be content with what you have if you are constantly running out of it. Have you ever been content with having little to none of something necessary for everyday life? I didn't think so. But being content with much is impossible also. When your limits are endless, you won't have to work towards anything. And surprisingly, when you work towards something it is easier to be content about it. If everything is handed to you you will never see the value in it, but when you work hard and have the perfect amount of things, it is easier to be content about it.

Quote of the day

Dreams don't become reality with a bibbity-bobbity-boo. You can't just dream up living in a castle and then wake up in one. To make dreams reality, you have to work. Work hard, sweat hard, and stay determined. If you wanted to lose weight, you can't just sit there and will your fat to disappear. If you want to become a millionaire, you can't just sit there and hope someone will bring you a check for a million dollars. If you want to be a professional at anything, you can't just sit there and think you are suddenly a pro. You have to work for everything. There's no free lunch, these things have to be earned from somewhere! But working hard will get you closer to your dreams then 'magic' ever did.

Quote of the day

"The most effective way to do it, is to do it."
-Amelia Earhart
If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. The best way to get something done quickly is to just go for it and do it. Get it done, do it. Don't wait around for someone to come walking around and offering to help you. If you need help, you should ask, but if it can be done, get it done! Procrastination is a big problem. Trust me, I would know. Even if you are struggling to get it done, just do it now so you can have free time later! Instead of having free time now with a weight on your back and something to worry about, just get it done now and take that weight off so you can have free time without worry.

Daily Quote

"The most beautiful thing in the world is, of course, the world itself."
-Wallace Stevens
The world is a beautiful place. There is so much to explore, so much to discover. There is so much in the world that has been difficult for our simple human minds to understand, because it is so vast and so complex and a true gift to all of us. By far, the most beautiful thing in the world is the world itself. Look outside. What do you see? Trees. Plants. Maybe some flowers. Now, go outside and look closer at these things. Look how delicate a flower petal is, and with a gentle pinch you can completely bruise and destroy and wither a petal. Look at the 'veins' -- if you will -- in a leaf and look at how you can practically see the cell structure of that leaf. Look closely. Isn't the world beautiful? Everything has such amazing and fascinating qualities when you look. So put the computer away and go out for a walk.

Daily Quote

"Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower."
-Hans Christian Andersen
Living is nice, but to get the most out of your life you can't simply be in existence. That isn't even possible. I suppose if you sat in a dark room and didn't do anything for your entire life, you would be simply living, but this isn't how life works. To get the most out of your life, you need a little sunshine. Find someone who makes you happy! Find something to do that makes you happy. Try not to find happiness in tangible items, but find it in loved ones. You also need a little freedom. Sometimes, people put restrictions on you that limit your freedom, even when you work hard all year without freedom so you will earn freedom when it is deserved. If your freedom is limited, then simply immerse yourself in the freedom you have. Enjoy it! Be free when you can. Getting the weight off your shoulders every now and then is great. Enjoy life, don't just sit there and be a drab, simple, living thing without a care in the world. Do something with your life and enjoy it!

Quote of the day

Hello!
After a short break due to lack of computer, I am excited to be catching up on posts in the next week! I have set the date on this post to appear to have been posted on the day after I wasn't able to post for a while, and I will try to fill the gap with posts. Enjoy!
Thanks,

"Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you."
-Charlotte Whitton
Look towards the positive side of everything. Don't allow the negative things of the past to bring you down. If you always dwell on the past, you will get nowhere! You will forever be trapped in a miserable cage with your faults. True, you will always have faults. But sometimes you need to excuse them and put them in the past so you can take a step forward to a better life. Turn your face to the sun, keep the shadows behind you, and keep moving.

Quote of the day

There is nobody quite like you, you're one of a kind. Ask for you tomorrow and the same you I would find. It's always a joy seeing you in the hallways; today, tomorrow, now and for always.
Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!
Never take your originality for granted. There is only one of you in the entire universe. What you call different I call unique! So don't be afraid to be who you really are, since there is only one of you, you need to show the world who that one special person is. Let it shine!

Hello! First of all, I want to thank you so much for reading this blog! 12 thousand page views really means a lot to me, so thank you for that! Anyway, I was just going to let you know that I won't have a computer for the majority of next week, so I will try my hardest to get some posts out to you, but if I don't, sorry in advance. Also, by the time I will get access to a computer I will about to be going on my annual month-long summer break from posting (because during that month I won't have access to a computer). Thanks again for reading, it means so much to me to know people are actually reading!

Daily Quote

"The truth is you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed."
-Eminem
There is no possible way to know exactly what will happen tomorrow. Anything could happen. Anything could come up. So planning hour-by-hour won't always correspond to what will actually be happening. Life is a crazy ride and we sometimes just need to ride it and see where it takes us. There will be times when you can get behind the steering wheel, but there will also be times when you need to let the car drive itself. You have no idea what exactly will happen tomorrow. And you won't get to know until tomorrow.

Daily Quote

"We may give without loving, but we cannot love without giving."
-Bernard Meltzer
It is possible to give a gift without loving, but you can't love without giving. If you donate to charity because you are forced to, you are giving without loving. If you are forced to participate in a gift exchange program or you willingly do so without caring who gets your gift, you are giving without loving. But if you love someone, you are giving them yourself and your love. So therefore if you love someone you are giving, and you can't love without giving. Also, if you give gifts or donations to friends, family, or charities and you give these gifts willingly, you are expressing love. Love through giving. As they always say, it's better to give than receive. But that doesn't mean to never receive! In order to receive, you first must give. Give gifts of love, give gifts with love. Because if there isn't giving, it isn't love and if it isn't loving, it is forceful giving.

Quote of the day

"I shut my eyes in order to see."
-Paul Gauguin
Sometimes, seeing isn't actually seeing. Sometimes, seeing is seeing with your heart and not with your eyes. Seeing clearly might mean shutting your eyes. Look with your heart-- what do you see? When you look at someone and they look happy, are they really? Look with your heart and you might find that they are sad but trying to be happy for your or someone else's sake. Shut your eyes and listen. Seeing can also be done with your ears. Go outside and shut your eyes. Can you hear birds? Or can you hear the roaring of cars? What do you hear? What do you see that you can't actually see? Use your other 4 senses to see. See with your touch. See with your taste. See with your smell. See with your hearing. And even though it isn't a sense, see with your heart.

Quote of the day

"As with anything creative, change is inevitable."
-Enya
When doing something creative, you are exploring. You are letting your mind wander into the unknown, you are not going by a set book of rules. You are creating and doing in a way that is not written somewhere. You are doing it your own way with your own touches, and you are pouring your own heart and soul into it. While you are doing whatever it is you are doing, something will always change. You will go back and change a detail or change your mind on what something will be or something like that. Something will change. Change is bound to happen in anything in life. Much like creativity, change is unavoidable. Something will come up, someone will die, someone will take power, someone will give up power. Someone will love you, someone will hate you, someone will do better than you, someone will do worse than you. Something could always happen that could change your life, even in the tiniest or biggest ways. Something will happen that was never written down somewhere. Remember, your life isn't set in stone. Something could always come up and change it. God does have a plan for you, but he hasn't mapped out every little thing you will do or say. Change is inevitable, just like creativity.

Daily Quote Part 2

"I hate mean people. People who just pick at you and try to force you into a train wreck."
-Method Man
Here is the part 2 to the quote I did yesterday! This is the other quote I found on the topic of 'mean people' that I just had to do. I just want to let all of you know that when I pick a topic to post about, usually it corresponds with something that happened to me in that day or recently. Like if I post about mean people, someone might have been mean to me or I might have been mean to someone or both. If I post about lies and truths, I might have lied or I might have had a triumphant moment of truth. These posts correspond to whatever happened to me in that day. If they don't, then they just speak to me and whatever kind of mood I am in. This quote, though, corresponds to yesterday's mood. Enjoy part 2!
-LifeOO

Unfortunately, there are a lot of mean people in this world. I will never understand it, but for some reason, mean people feel good when they put others down. It is almost as if it gives them a feeling of superiority. Maybe, when they put someone down, they are temporarily making the person weak enough to make themselves look so much bigger and stronger and better, resulting in a feeling of 'I'm better than you.' These are the people who just pick at you and pick at you and pick at you until the meat they are picking at has lost its flavor. The problem is, there aren't many people who can withstand the fiery wrath of mean people. This results in way too many people getting put down. That's why we need to stand up to them. Don't let it get to you. Find a way to fight back without fighting. Fight back with peace and love and happiness. Don't fight with angry words... like I said yesterday, remember when to hold your tongue. But be strong, don't let them get the satisfaction of tearing you down again. Every time they tear you down, they leave another scar... The scars will never go away but you can stop them from happening. You have the power if you believe you can and if you fight back with kindness and compassion. If you are feeling lucky, you might even try to help them through whatever issue they are facing in their own lives. Because remember-- most of the time when someone is angry, it is something going on in their lives. It isn't you, it's them. Help them through it, but stand up when it is time to take a stand. That time is now. Be the change you wish to see in the world.

Daily Quote Part 1

"I don't make enemies, it's just I'm not afraid to speak my mind, which can sometimes mean people don't like what I am saying."
-Alan Sugar
Today and tomorrow I am trying something new. When I was searching for quotes today, I found two really good ones that were side by side that both corresponded with each other in a way. I actually have something to say to each of them that goes against what the quote is saying. So enjoy this part one, and look forward to seeing what other quote I desperately wanted to post on.
-LifeOO

Speaking your mind can sometimes be a good thing. Sometimes we need to speak our minds to let others know how we really feel about what they are doing to us. Sometimes we need to speak our minds to be honest to others, especially if what you are saying could change them drastically and for the better. Sometimes people might not like what you are saying, and that will always be true. There will always be someone who just doesn't like what you are trying to say. Sometimes, you won't care. But just know that there are times to speak and times to hold your tongue. Speaking your mind can get you into a heap of trouble, wether the trouble you are in is provoking someone or making rude, true but rude, comments while someone is doing something or getting lectured, or something different like hurting someone's feelings ever day for so long that they give up on you. A lot of damage can be done if you don't hold your tongue at the right times, but just remember there will be times when speaking your mind is probably better and more helpful for someone else. Even if it means physically holding your tongue by pinching it with your fingers to refrain yourself from speaking, or stuffing food in your mouth to refrain from speaking, or just covering your mouth with your hand to refrain from speaking, or biting your tongue, or clenching your fists, or simply not saying anything, just know when to hold your tongue.

Quote of the day

You don't get to choose your brothers and sisters. You don't get to choose your mom and dad. They didn't get to choose you either, unless you were adopted. But your birth family didn't get to choose you. You are God's gift to them and any family you might be a part of, and they are God's gift to you. God knew what he was doing when he placed each of us with the family we have, knowing what we will face will make us stronger and unique in different areas. If you were born into an abusive family, God is helping you get a thicker skin and stand up to it. If you were born into a poor family, God is giving you the opportunity to feel motivated to do something great and support your family. If you were born into a family with high expectations, God is giving you the chance to live up to them and to learn how to be highly productive and successful all the way from the start. God put you in different places to season you in different ways. He gave you the gift of your family, and He gave your family the gift of you.

Quote of the day

"We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us."
-Joseph Campbell
It is ok to plan out what you want to happen, but most likely something else is bound to happen. Something that isn't in your schedule will spring upon you and there is nothing you can do about it. For example, a sudden death might not be in your life plan, but it can always happen. So let go of the little fantasy of a life you have planned out for yourself, and just go with the one that is waiting for you. Live the life you are meant to live, not the life you planned to live. If the life you planned to live and the life you are meant to live end up being the same, you got lucky! But no matter what blows life throws at you, know it is meant for you and it always has been.

Daily Quote

If it is daytime, it is difficult to hide the sun. If it is nighttime, it is difficult to hide the moon. The light from the sun will be surrounding you, and in order to hide the sun you have to hide all light it sheds, and that is impossible. Same goes for the moon, because the light being reflected by the moon covers miles and miles and miles (your entire time zone) with its light. You can't hide the moon. Likewise, the truth can't be hidden for long. Not only will it tear at you until it comes out, but the longer it is kept the longer it will tear at your relationships with others. Lies will always do damage, but they do less the sooner you tell the truth. The other thing about lies is that eventually someone will find out. How they do it I do not know, but every single time, in a matter of time, someone finds out. And if the truth comes out by way of someone else, that is even more damaging than if you say it yourself. Like the sun and the moon, the truth can't be hidden forever.

Daily Quote

"To be trusted is a greater compliment than being loved."
-George MacDonald
Love is unique in that there will always be at least someone who loves you. Love feels amazing and is incredibly important, but trust is something completely different. Trust has to be earned. Trust can easily be lost, but not so easily gained. Trust me, I know. I have had people tell me that they feel like they can't trust me, and hearing that breaks my heart. I admit whatever it was I did at the time was wrong and I need to learn to stop when I'm told to stop, but we're all human. We all make mistakes, and some mistakes are worse than others. Now, they might be small ones, but at this rate, they could become big ones. If there are two qualities I am working on the most right now, they would have to be trust and truth. Unfortunately I'm not very good at either, but truth is improving significantly. The truth now comes out with hardly any thought. But trust... I'm trying my hardest but that's not enough. Trust is something many people struggle with, on both the giving end and receiving end. If you are suffering from the lack of trust, join me today in trying to break our nasty habits and become more pure. I've found that, ultimately, truth and trust are paired closely. While you might despise that nasty little tattle-tale who rotted you out, at least they brought forth the truth. May the long journey to regaining your trust (others' trust of you; your trust of others) begin today.

Quote of the day

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
-Robert Brault
I'd like to thank my father for this quote. He emailed this to me this morning, and in his email he wrote something like, "as I watch the videos of you when you were little, I realize the quote is right!" Thinking back, I wish I knew what I knew today because there are so many things I took for granted that I don't get today. For example, when I was very young, my parents would play with me and entertain me and care for every single thing I needed 24/7. Now, I don't get that kind of attention because I don't need it. Quite honestly, If they gave me that kind of attention I am not sure I would want it either. But back then I didn't realize what a huge effort my parents had to put in to keep me busy and entertained all day. The constant board games and story books and everything they captured in our home videos were a huge effort on my parents, and I wish that if only I could have been that thankful back then. Tomorrow is mother's day (or for those of you who receive these posts by email, today is mother's day), and I can't wait to show my mother that I do care and that I am thankful for everything my mother as well as my father did for me to help make me the person I am today.

Quote of the day

"Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently."
-Henry Ford
As I've mentioned before, failure is only truly failure if you fail to learn from your mistakes. So therefore, when you fail, it is simply the opportunity to try again while knowing more. The next time you walk into a similar situation, you will have previous knowledge of what not to do, and you will end up doing better this time around. Don't ever give up. As much as you might want to, giving up deprives you of a learning opportunity. Walking into something and giving your best effort but failing is better than avoiding the situation all together. At least walking into it you have a chance of success, but if you fail, you will know what to do next time. So take failure more as a new chance to do it again, but better.

Daily Quote

Don't let your age keep you from setting new goals and reaching new heights. You will never be too old to want to make a difference and you will never be too old to set more personal goals. You could be 85 and still setting goals to accomplish things, because that is possible. There are a surprising amount of things people can do if you put your mind to it. You can never be too old or too young to think up a new idea and put it into action. So get up! No matter how old or how young, get up and set some goals. Achieve some goals. Accomplish great things.

Daily Quote

"If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door."
-Milton Berle
If no opportunities for anything are presented or are available to you, then create a means for them to come by. Do something that will call for opportunities to flock to you like bees to honey. If there aren't any opportunities available to you, do something about it. If you want a job, go out and go searching. Bring the door to the opportunity so that the opportunity can knock on it. Or, you could build a door if the opportunities you want are different. If you want someone to offer you a position on the local leadership group, participate in more leadership activities to make yourself more desirable to them. Maybe, the opportunities will come knocking on your door. But the point is, don't just sit around waiting for opportunities to come to you. If none are, build a door for them to knock on. Build a foundation to build a house on. Bake a cake to put icing on. You get the point. If it isn't happening, create a reason for it to happen.

Quote of the day

"If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it."
-Andy Rooney
Looking for quotes to put on this blog is a really interesting experience. I look through pages of quotes and skim them until my eyes catch on one, which means I am thinking somewhere in my subconscious mind about whatever that quote is. After I find the quote, I use it on my blog! So there, now you know how I pick my quotes. Just in case you wanted to know.

Sometimes, when you smile and you are around other people, the smile might be just because you are trying to be nice. The smile could be an automatic response to whatever it might be someone says, or maybe the smile is genuine. But if you find yourself smiling when no one else is around, you know the smile is real. If it isn't under the influence of anyone else's pressure to make you smile (which includes the smile you give to someone's joke even if the joke wasn't funny), it must be real. So try to notice your smiling when you are alone. Don't forget to do something fun every once in a while. Take a short break from your work and make yourself smile. Work hard, but don't forget to also play hard.

Quote of the day

"We sit in the mud... and reach for the stars."
-Ivan Turgenev
While we sit in the lowliest most filthy positions, we still reach for the stars. That's ok, that's good. It's healthy to set good goals for ourselves and then achieve them. Sometimes, when you shoot for the moon and land on the stars it is ok. (Although, if you get technical, the stars are farther away from the moon.) But if you are simply going by what the phrase says, you can shoot for a big goal but instead fulfill several smaller goals. It's a start. Even from here where we sit down in the mud, reach for the stars. As humans, we are quite dirty on the inside. Normal human traits aren't the cleanest things in the world. But don't let this hold you back. Reach for the stars! The sky's the limit!

Daily Quote

When working with a team, it is important to understand the different types of "working as a team." There is the coming together, which is a good beginning. Being able to come together as a group is a good start. But it isn't teamwork if everyone else is playing games while you do all the work. You're still together, good start, but it isn't quite teamwork. Keeping together is a good progress. If the group will stay with you and not just leave, that is a good progress. But, even if they are following your words and listening to you and staying with you, you could have still been the person who did all of the research and all of the work and now you are presenting it so they have an idea of what is actually going on. Sorry, but this still isn't teamwork. Working together is success. If everyone is contributing equally and getting the job done and no single person is doing too much or too little, everyone is together, and everyone is keeping together, that's teamwork. This took me years and years and years to figure out, and my natural instincts still get to me a bit when working in a team. Sometimes I still end up with a group of slackers and I end up doing things all by myself. But sometimes I get a great group and we can all work together. Teamwork is crazy in that way. If you are trying to do it right, someone else will always be there to not do anything. When you get a good group, though, work together. Even if you don't have a good group of people, teach them to work together. Then, they will be able to work together always.

Daily Story

The jack fruit tree (Artocarpus heterophyllus) is a large, gorgeous evergreen tree with smooth, shiny, glossy, oval, leathery, and dark green leaves. Jack fruit is the largest edible tree-grown fruit in the world. The fruits are very popular in India and throughout South East Asia. Its flesh has a fine flavour resembling a combination of apple, pineapple, mango and banana.

The evergreen leaves of a young jack fruit tree lived in harmony till one of the leaves showed signs of changing its colour. Its colour slowly changed to golden yellow. It did not realize that the change was a result of withering, a symptom of inevitable aging. But the foolish leaf became boastful and told the green leaves that its golden hue was a special sign of its superior status. But some of the more intelligent green leaves observed the withered and dried leaves lying at the bottom of the neighbouring trees and concluded that the colour of the haughty leaf was an indication of an impending fall. They conveyed the message to the golden leaf but it was blind with pride and laughed at the other leaves.

One day, during a stormy night, the leaves trembled with the wind. The golden leaf lost its link with the tree and fell down helplessly. It was carried by the wind and it landed at the base of the tree. Lying there, it looked at the young, healthy and green leaves on the tree. The leaves appeared to dance in delight, possibly laughing at him, seeing his fatal fall. The withered leaf sadly withdrew into itself, silently accepting its final fate. It was slowly disintegrated in the soil to become manure for the tree.

King Philip of Macedonia had appointed a servant in his palace, with the duty to meet him every morning and greet him with the words, “Philip, remember that you must die.”

'Death' is the Damocles' sword for all mortals. Death often appears unexpectedly. At every moment of life, we must be prepared for this impending end. Life is short and all worldly riches and luxury have to be left behind when we die. They give only a temporary joy. Sinful indulgence in worldly pleasures may lead to everlasting agony in a hell of horror.

Death is the universal equalizer. Everyone is equal before death as death comes to all - great and small.

At his deathbed, Alexander the Great instructed his close associates to leave his hands hanging free on either side of the coffin during his royal funeral procession. That was to teach the world that he could carry nothing with him on his final journey.

We fail to realize this truth till we reach the last moments in life. We waste a major share of our time, health and energy to amass fame, wealth and glory. Let us save our riches in heaven.

Quote of the day

"It is easier to go down a hill than up, but the view is from the top."
-Arnold Bennett
While it is easier to take the easier and less bumpy road, you still have to take the harder path sometimes. We all know that the best view of anything is from the top, and the only way to get there is by going up hill. So don't be afraid to step a little out of your shell. Get a little bit dirty! Take the path that will lead to success, no matter how steep it is! Yes, sometimes we do need to take the downhill path, but we also need to find our way to the top. If you focus and believe you can do it, you can climb that whole mountain! Once you get to the top, you will be able to see clearly. Everything will be visible and the view will be spectacular. But it takes work to get there. But where would we be if we didn't work hard?

Quote of the day

When you were (or are) in school, do you remember how painful and long those days were? How you sat in an uncomfortable desk in a clammy classroom for hours on end listening to a teacher's lecture and watching the clock, silently praying for the fire drill alarm to go off so you can get some fresh air? Even if your experience wan't like that (because mine certainly was only like that in a couple of rare cases), do you remember those days when you just didn't want to go to school? We've all experienced it. Waking up at what feels like the crack of dawn, then having homework that keeps us up until midnight or beyond, and then repeating the cycle over and over again. Eventually, this lack of sleep catches up to you and you crave weekends desperately. The lectures in school are not always so fun either, but you still have to pay attention and take notes. Getting educated is a rough experience. It can be, though, an incredible and memorable (and dare I say it can sometimes be fun) experience. But over all, the roots of education are pretty bitter. But once you are all grown up and you have a job, the things you learned in school come in handy. Math is in everything, science is behind everything, english is important when writing applications for jobs or reports on people you are interviewing or all sorts of things, if you choose to live in a foreign country then your language will come in handy. All of your classes will be used in various ways throughout life. While it was rough to get that knowledge, when you actually put it to use, the fruit will be sweet.
