As I seem to mention quite frequently, material possessions don't make a man as rich as love and joy do. To receive love can only be achieved by giving love, but it works similarly in reverse too. If you receive love, you are more inclined to give love to others. And love as well as being loved is part of what makes one rich. Being joyful and giving joy is another thing. Everyone is always saying how you have to give give give, and that is better than receiving. This is true, but receiving sometimes gives you the energy to give. Take Ebenezer Scrooge. He was never loved by anyone, and if he was, those people didn't show it. He never knew how it felt to be loved, and so he never gave love back. So there are many things that it is ok to receive, but only if it inclines you to give more. Again, this works in reverse! Be the one to start the love chain. Give love away, and some will come back to you! All of those inner qualities are the ones that make someone rich.
