"In order to have wisdom we must have ignorance."
-Theodore Dreiser
Everyone starts out being ignorant. To have wisdom, you must first have a lack of wisdom. That way, you can fill the gaps with new knowledge that can help fill more of those ignorant gaps in your mind. Also, being ignorant will inspire you to ask questions so that you can learn and not be ignorant anymore. Those questions will spark the answers and conversation that will help you gain wisdom. Think of it this way: Ignorance leads to questions. Questions lead to answers. Answers lead to further study, and further study leads to knowledge and wisdom. So it's ok to be ignorant! Just do something about it and a whole new world of knowledge will be opened and the fog from your eyes will be lifted.
