To respect others, you must prioritize them over you. Be humble, and make your priorities the least and others' priorities of greater importance. If you are too proud and not humble enough, you really won't be respecting others as much as you may think you are. You need to fully put others before yourself. Do this, and others will respect you as well. So be humble, and respect will flow in all directions. From you to them, from them to the world.
