If you don't work hard, you won't get good results. Sometimes you get lucky and you can coast on your previous hard work in some situations, but in other situations you really do need to work hard. Take school as an example. You didn't just show up to a test without having studied first, did you? No. You study so that you can actually do well on the test. Without that hard work, though, all you get is a weedy grade. Sometimes, even with the hard work, you still get a weedy grade. But if you've actually tried, you will always get some flowers. Even if your flower garden needs to be weeded, as long as there are flowers in the garden you're ok. But that doesn't mean not to try your absolute best! Try hard, give a garden of flowers full of effort. Because without that hard work, nothing grows but weeds.
