The more time you take to do something carefully, the better it will be done. Taking too much time on something can be bad, but taking not enough time can be even worse. If you're working on a project, you won't do your best if you wait until last minute and then do it as fast and carelessly as you can. You won't even do it that well if you do it fast the second you get it just so you can get it over with. If you take your time and spread out your time wisely, you will very likely pay closer attention to the details and work hard to make it just right. You will do a whole lot better. This is true for most things in life. Haste makes waste, as you may have heard before.
