In an argument, everyone wants to be right. So everyone fights it out to try to get the point out that they are right. The other person is also trying to be right, so they don't want to believe you are right. Even if nobody is right, the most important thing is to do what is right. Be the bigger person and end the argument. Say sorry, do the right thing. Now in terms of the argument- you need to learn to solve your arguments without a third party helping sort things out. But doing this is a big skill that most people- even adults- even me, and probably you- still struggle with. It is natural to want to be right. But learn to step up and do what is right.
