Happiness doesn't come from material items... It comes from helping others. Give back to your community, and it will give back to you. Help others in need. But don't do it for your own personal feeling of happiness, do it so that everyone else can be happy. That is another component to happiness. You can't do things purposefully to get personal happiness. You need to do things to make others happy. Similar to jobs- do what you truly love, not just what will get you the most money. If you want to work at a pizza parlor because that is what you love doing, then so be it. If you wanted to work at Google because that is what you enjoy doing, so be it. But don't work at somewhere like Google if you only want the money and the perks. Do it out of the will to serve and work your best in something you enjoy. Same with service... Do it out of the goodness and humbleness of your heart.
